What stays on your device

Your business profile (name, ABN, licence number, contact details, logo, rates) and your saved quotes are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive or keep them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

What we process

• AI quotes: when you press "Write my quote", the job description, your hourly rate, callout fee and the job suburb are sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write the quote. We don't store the description or the result. Don't include customer names or private details in the job description.
• Beta list: if you join, we store your email, your trade, optional business name, your answer about paying, which page you signed up from, and the campaign tag you first arrived with (if any). We use it only to contact you about QuoteAce. Ask us to delete it any time.
• Limits: to keep the free beta fair, we count AI quotes per visitor per day using a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself), kept for up to 7 days.
• QuoteAce Pro: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment and card details (we never see your card). We keep your Stripe customer ID, email, and subscription status, so we can switch Pro on. Your browser keeps a private Pro link key, which only says which Stripe customer you are.
• Visit statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views (page, referring site, country, device and browser type). It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites. Only the page address and any campaign tag (?src=) are sent; other parts of the address are removed first.
• Where you came from: if you arrive through a link with a campaign tag (for example ?src=reddit-auselec), we keep that tag on your device for 90 days, in local storage and in one first-party cookie (qa_src). It holds only the tag. We send it with a beta-list sign-up or Pro checkout (stored with that sign-up, and in Stripe as subscription metadata), and we count tagged visits per day and page, without any personal details. This tells us which posts are useful. Clear your browser data to remove it.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel, and the beta list is stored with Supabase. Both may keep standard technical logs.

We don't sell your information, and there is no advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.
